Ordered delivery plenty of times, some stuff has been ok but most of the things I've tried I've really liked. They give huge portions and they don't charge much for delivery.

One of my favorite places to eat in the area! The portions are huge, the food is great, and the prices are super low!

Ordered cream cheese wontons and they hardly had any cream cheese in them. The people who cooked the food got the chicken out of a huge bowl that was not being kept cold and it's like 95 degrees in there. Handled a lot of stuff without gloves or washing their hands. Food was cooked in front of you and was hot but I wouldn't say it was very fresh. Food was okay but will not be back and couldn't find any health rating.

I will shamelessly say that I order delivery from here at least 2 or 3 times a month. The food is delicious and they definitely give you portions well-worth your money! :)

Very good Chinese Delivery. Pretty quick delivery, as it was their first time delivering here. The styrofoam containers were almost overflowing. Great flavour, great experience. Great prices. And they deliver all the way to Wildwood, for those of you past the Georgia line. $2 for delivery to where I live.

The food was good, great prices, and delivery was fast! The only complaints I have are that my spring rolls only had cabbage in them (should be called "cabbage rolls", lol) and my curry shrimp wasn't spicy at all. But, otherwise the rest of the meals were great:)

(4/1/2016) - Our facility ordered from this restaurant today, and when they delivered it to us, two orders were left out, and two orders were also wrong. When I called to ask them about it, they hung right up after they answered. I continued to call several more times and they never answered. I NEVER complain about anything, but this is awful. They lost my service as well as everybody else here that works with me.

Great food and great portions. Absolutely love that they deliver.

My husband and I when on January 8th 2016.I had the BEST sweet and sour chicken I've ever had.My husband had the beef chow mein. Both very delicious. We will definitely be going there again. SOON I HOPE

-Save your $$ and go to Subway- My boyfriend and I went here based on reviews. We ordered the Happy Family and Seafood Delight. The white sauce added to the Seafood looked like snot or slime and became immediately apitizing. Inside the restruant, it was unclean with its peeling/damaged walls and tables, layers of dust on the celieing fans, and grime on the floors. Not one worker wore gloves and the employee checking us out didn't his wash hands after using the register as he went over to food prep table to handle food. If we could go back in time... we would have gone to Subway.

Classic local Chinese fare. Yes, the building is old and the signs are faded (as you can see in Joel's haughty review below.) Having ordered from this restaurant for a decade, I can say it's among the better local Chinese options I've enjoyed from anywhere in the country. While the signage may not be good enough for Joel, I've never eaten signs. I go there for the food, and it's consistently terrific both ordered in and delivered.

Always go to a Chinese restaurant first before getting delivery. This place was rundown and very hot inside. I ordered sweet n sour chicken then watched as they took an uncooked egg roll and pork fried rice from a pan sitting on the counter and threw it in the fryer. The place was empty and I was very concerned how long that pork had been sitting on the counter. I was super hungry and a gambler so I ate the food anyway. I didn't get sick but it was probably because I only took 2 bites worst Chinese food I have ever had. I threw the rest away. This place is terrible.

Food is not very good, the won ton soup tasted old, I couldn't eat it. Service was fast but he restaurant looked dirty, most of the lights were out and it looked closed.

Absolutely the worst chinese food I've had. Went for lunch on the basis of good reviews here. Food had no flavor at all. Chicken in the fried rice looked so unappetizing that we picked it out of the food. Beef was rubbery and all gristle and fat. Never going again.

This is really a hole in the wall. Going in, I almost turned around. Menu pictures on the wall have faded and turned green which makes ordering unappetizing. There isn't much in this area. Food was as to be expected for this kind of place, but I didn't get sick. Eggrols were actually quite good. Fried rice came out of a big vat in the kitchen. Price is as to be expected for a take out Chinese place.

I’ve been a patron for years and every time they did not let me down. I love their Sesame Chicken and there Spring Rolls. Almost everything was delicious. Conditions were nice also. Totally recommend. Keep up the good work, China Gourmet Team!!!

It's 5% meat and the rest just onions.Not to mention lack of quality and moldy food. The 'pancake' for the MuuShu Beef was hard, tough rubber and mold!Never ordering from them again.

Pretty damn good Chinese fare. Quite low key setting, because I think they get most of their business from delivery.

We loved this restaurant very much food was amazing. We are from south Texas and passed through Chattanooga heading to Pennsylvania. We stayed at La Quinta next door and ordered from this little hole in the wall and loved the food. I had to eat here again on way back to Texas. I plan on eating here again next summer for vacation in Chattanooga. Staff was very friendly also.

Stayed at the LaQuinta Inn. Walked over. Great egg drop soup, big wings, and nice egg rolls.

After finding out about this place and that they deliver we've ordered from here numerous times in the last few months. Generous portions, fast delivery - for a buck - and really quite tasty food. I'm especially partial to their ribs, which are exceedingly meaty. $30 from here will feed two of us at least two times each, with snacks.

My husband and I had our food delivered. It was fast. The food was really good. They gave good portion sizes. We stayed at the Hilton Garden inn downtown Chattanooga.

Only thing that was good was the price and friendly service. The food was terrible. I ordered seaseme( I know I spelled it wrong) chicken with noodles. The sauce was very watering and flavorless. The chicken did not taste like chicken or look like chicken. The noodles were dry and flavorless. Surprisingly, the noodles were best thing on the plate. For the first time I could not finish my favorite meal, I had to phone a friend, and she could not finish it as well. I would suggest checking their inspection grade before ordering. In all, experience here was not to good and I would not recommend Any body to eat here.

If you there for the food you won’t be disappointed. It’s a typical little take out joint that doesn’t try to impress with its decor. They let their food speak for itself.

Ordered general tsos chicken and crab Rangoon. Requested it be made fresh. I got dried out food that seemed it sat on a buffet for hours. I don't suggest you get food delivery unless you want to be upset.

China gourmet is a restaurant that I have enjoyed for many years in Lookout Valley. The staff is friendly and you can tell they work very hard in the kitchen when filling an order. The food is filling and delicious. It is also a plus that it is easy to reheat at home for further enjoyment (and meal prep when the budget is a little tight). Glad to see they’ve reopened in the midst of these difficult times!

I found this place back in 2010 and it is by far the best Chinese food on the east coast. Huge portions amazing prices well cooked and quick delivery from some of the friendliest people in Tennessee. I absolutely love this place... Update: it's been 3 years since I've been lucky enough to be here and everything is still amazing. I really truly love everything about this place.

My wife and I both like their food. She likes their cashew chicken and I like their chicken cho mein. Their egg rolls are pretty good too. :)

This place gives great tasting food in huge portions. We stay at a nearby hotel on all of our trips through the area, in no small part because of how much we enjoy this restaurant

Myself and a lot of other people order from this restaurant and have it delivered to work. The food is always hot and fresh...but this makes twice now I've found a bug. And there has been several other coworkers have the same complaint. The first time I found a big I quit ordering from here for over a year, guess I'll just start bringing my lunch again. I understand that it happens from time to time, but this seems to be a pretty often reaccurance.

Absolutely terrible customer service and delivery service. The food was ok. Ordered my food spicy but it wasn’t spicy.

I just started going here and I love it. Much better than most of the other local Chinese takeout.
